Dean of Continuing Education manages administrative functions of the college of continuing education. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Continuing Education leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Continuing Education requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Continuing Education manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Continuing Education typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     • Availability for both early morning and closing shifts.

    Qualifications:
    • Must meet all state requirements for this position.
    • Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience, specifically with children under the age of 3
    • A friendly and outgoing demeanor.
    • Exceptional professionalism and dependability.
    • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to remain composed under pressure.
    • Strong organizational abilities, proficiency in multitasking, and effective time management in a fast-paced setting.
    • The capability to interact with students of all ages and skill levels.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. in scenarios related to child handling for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
    • Ability to create lesson plans utilizing Creative Curriculum.
    • Ability to work through a transitional period. 

    Job Type: Full-time

    Experience: Teaching Early Education (1 year minimum)
