Dean of Mathematics jobs in Wyoming
Dean of Mathematics manages administrative functions of the college of mathematics. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Mathematics leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Mathematics requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Mathematics manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Mathematics typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Benefits:
Health and Dental Plans: The District offers 3 Health/Dental Plans with various deductible and co-pays. For 2023-2024 health insurance plans include $1,500 Deductible Plan, $2,500 Deductible Plan, and a $3,500 High Deductible Plan (Health Saving Account eligible).
Life Insurance: The District provides a life insurance policy at no cost to the employee and dependents. It is a $20,000 Term Life for the employee and $5,000 for dependents.
Wyoming State Retirement: The District pays 15.815% and the employee pays 2.805%
Paid Time Off (PTO): 11 days of per contract year.
