The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on September 3, 1995 in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles. Under the leadership of the Chief Communications Officer, assist in the execution of a football communications strategy for the Jaguars and upon occasion, other related entities, including the Jaguars Foundation, Iguana Investments, 1st DownTown Jacksonville, TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, AEW and all other business endeavors. Develop and maintain relationships with members of the local, national and international media in a professional and strategic manner, thereby enhancing the reputation of the team, creating new fans locally and abroad and protecting the integrity and credibility of the organization and its personnel. Contribute to proactive media relations for Jaguars programs and initiatives including ticketing and fan experience, community relations, sponsorship and football communications as assigned. Oversee departmental logistics related to press box coordination, recurring communication with media and transcription services. Provide additional administrative support for members of the Jaguars PR department as needed.
