Who We Are
Public Allies’ mission is to create a just and equitable society and the diverse leadership to sustain it.
Through our signature AmeriCorps program, Public Allies identifies talented emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds and prepares them for careers working for community and social change. In our 10-month apprenticeship program you will work full-time for a non-profit or civic organization addressing critical community issues. You will also develop your own interpersonal skills through regular leadership training delivered by local leaders.
You’ll gain valuable leadership skills, receive personalized coaching to pursue your career goals, build relationships with a diverse network of local leaders, and participate in a national movement of leaders working for change.
