Development Director manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Development Director works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Development Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. What will you be doing?
Responsible for the development and implementation of programs and services for individuals in Community Day Services.
Responsible for setting a standard of excellence by supporting all day programs in a client-centered, hands-on manner and make recommendations consistent with AID’s overall mission and goals.
researches and evaluates instructional techniques and materials to make recommendations for expanded/enhanced services
Provide direction and guidance for quality service and programming for persons served
Responsible for the leadership & collaborations for programs and locations assigned
Assigned to internal and external committees representing the organization
Collaborates with QIDP’s, Manager, Directors, and Educational Specialist to ensure that programming is being implemented in accordance with DHS and AID’s Programming Department guidelines
Maintain and assure that all aspects of program and services comply with all applicable federal, state and local entity requirements
Responsible for outcome evaluation, quality assurance of services and maintains all accreditation standards

What are the other requirements?
Position requires the use of employee’s automobile, a valid driver’s license, and the minimum amount of automobile liability insurance as defined by AID’s personnel policies.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in education or human services field
License/Certifications: QIDP Certification, Education Background Preferred, Autism Certification Preferred
Experience: 3-5 years of working with individuals with ID/DD, Supervisory Experience Preferred
