Development Director manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Development Director works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Development Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Development Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Development Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     POSITION SUMMARY:

    Responsible and accountable for the ongoing onboarding training of all new property-level employees.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Plans, develops and implements employee training curricula for all Property Management team members including, but not limited to, leasing, fair housing, financial literacy, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), safety, LIHTC, and HUD.

    · Collaborates with management and support team to determine training needs.

    · Develops and executes soft skill training including sales, service, and leadership skills.

    · Train on prospect/applicant/resident processes to increase net closing ratios and reduce the number of days vacant.

    · Train and Develop a network of Subject Matter Experts (Team Leaders), for a consistent approach to onboarding new hires and the continued development and training of team members of the Solidago/LDG culture.

    · Partner and collaborate with leaders to develop and deliver a consistent approach for New Hire Orientations and onboarding.

    · Implements a measurement of the effectiveness of training programs through testing and surveys.

    · Provides foundational training for team members related to LIHTC and HUD policy and regulations.

    · Assists with interpreting and providing clarification of all LIHTC and HUD communications involving on-site implementation.

    · Communicates information or challenges to be resolved in a clear, concise, courteous, non-discriminatory, and professional manner, and is able to provide clarification, as necessary.

    · Encourages and develops higher skills from within the existing workforce.

    · Performs related duties as required and assigned by supervisor.

    · Develop and implement short-term, mid-term, and long-term learning strategies that are unique & fun for participants.

    · Set KPI’s to measure the success of training platforms, including live events, courses, and resources.

    · Devise strategies/curriculum to move culture, knowledge, and skills/abilities in line with strategic.

    · objectives.

    · Responsible for training/facilitating approved curriculum.

    · Responsible for managing/maintaining/updating the Management Excellence Policy and Procedures Manuals.

    · Use and management outside training software programs.

    · Measure outcomes for learning transfer with “pre” and “post” test training. Train in technical, procedural, and interpersonal areas with emphasis on measurable outcomes.

    · Share monthly reports showing courses completed by pre-determined groups, live events, and completed eDocs.

    · Research, evaluate, source, and recommend cost-effective, industry-specific outside training programs and/or contractors that can be purchased to supplement custom KPG-designed programs.

    · Travel/Field Training up to 50% of work schedule.

    · Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of training (e.g. engagement, employee turnover, quality improvement)

    · Attend professional organizations’ seminars, educational sessions, industry trade shows, etc.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Adult Education or related field or equivalent experience

    · Willing to obtain or already certified: Certified Professional, Learning and Performance (CPLP)

    · Minimum of 5 years of experience in Training and Development, facilitating courses in various levels of personnel. Minimum of three years of experience in the multi-family industry.

    · Must be very knowledgeable on all federal, state and/or local Fair Housing laws.

    · Excellent presentation skills, and good public speaking skills. Organized.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
