Development Director manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Development Director works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. We are hiring a Director of Development (DoD). This person will be responsible for championing the community-centric fundraising strategies and vision that sustain the resources needed to build a Vermont where all LGBTQ youth have hope, equity, and power.
Qualified individuals will be curious in nature, analytical in approach, and diplomatic and strategic in developing and managing relationships. The successful candidate will have at least five years of relevant work history demonstrating team leadership and fundraising experience.
Salary range: $78,000-$84,000. This is a full-time, salaried, 35-hour per week position, with a comprehensive benefit package. This opportunity is opening as our current DoD transitions into a new finance and operations role for our growing organization.
