Ultra-X Imaging is a fast-growing industry that delivers 24/7 mobile x-ray and ultrasound services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, homebound patients, physician offices, and government facilities in Michigan and Northwest Ohio.
We are in search of a compassionate and driven full-time Sonographer in and throughout the Michigan or Northern Region of Toledo Ohio. This position is full-time with 40 hours a week and includes some weekends and holidays. We offer a company vehicle to technologists to travel to each location.

Day-to-day Responsibility:
· Perform and process a number of ultrasounds, generating clear and clinically diagnostic, technically competent ultrasounds images
· Navigate the image storage system to send, review, manipulate, and resolve exceptions when needed
· Correct, update, and complete all exam documentation in the PAC’s information system to assure timely, accurate bill submission
· Transport ultrasound equipment to and from facilities to perform exams ordered by clinicians/providers
· Explain exam procedure to patient in a professional and concise manner
·Maintains supplies, equipment, follow/practices OSHA safety standard, always follow all HIIPA legal and ethical documentation
·Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Standing certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
· Demonstrated competency as a Sonographer
· Valid driver’s license in good current standing
· Ability to work independently
· Work as a team player
· Maintain a professional appearance and work environment
· Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
· Knowledge of applicable regions - including geography and basic travel route
