Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Summary
Performs all duties of the Staff Radiologic position with additional responsibilities for being competent in CAT scan, Special Procedures and Surgical Imaging Procedures. Under the general supervision of the Radiologist, conducts daily operations of the CAT scan and/or Special Procedures Department to include venipuncture for contrast injections.

Minimum Education/Experience
Certificate of completion from college or vocational school Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program (College or Institutional Program) approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The college program will grant a minimum of an Associate’s Degree (A.S.) or Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers - Upon hire
BLS: Employee will be enrolled in the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Basic Life Support (BLS) Entry or Prep Curriculum (depending on their previous BLS certification). Within 3 months of hire into job
