The Manager Imaging helps organize, develop, and define the administrative and technical functions of the department, and also helps ensure that protocols and policies are carried out as given by the Medical Director. The Manager also assists in the performance of job descriptions, evaluations and any administrative directives needed for the ideal operation of the Medical Imaging Departments. Other duties include: supporting compliance of all hospital and departmental regulations, and encourages action upon non-compliance, acting as a role model for the department, reinforcing the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient services by technical/non-technical personnel, will oversee all processes involved with obtaining accreditations and maintaining compliance of all medical imaging departments and their facilities, providing analysis of quality metrics and ensure all actionable consequences are implemented and reported to the appropriate authority, and assisting with the creation and financial assessment of all imaging exams and procedures to ensure accuracy and necessity.
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT and SCRQSA Required, BLS required
B. Education: Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT registered. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
