Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Radiology Tech coordinates and performs diagnostic radiographic procedures as indicated by Department protocols. Provides exceptional patient and family care throughout the imaging process.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Graduate of JRCERT accredited school of Radiography required.
    • Must be ARRT registered or eligible.
    • Limited licensed technologist will be allowed to apply as long as they are seeking their ARRT registry.
    • Must attain ARRT registry within one (1) year of employment.
    • Current BLS, Healthcare Provider BLS within 30 days of hire.
    • Basic computer skills to include PACS and RIS. Effective communication skills.
    • Capacity to perform on-call, shift, holidays and weekends are required within a 20-minute response time for call backs required.

    Preferred / Desired:

    • Recent hospital experience preferred in Radiology.
    • Additional Imaging experience in other modalities/registries in CT, Angiography, and preferred.
    • Current Healthcare Provider BLS preferred.

    On-Call / Weekends: Yes.
