Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with organizing, and directing an imaging service. Responsible for maintaining quality and efficiency for all sections of the department. Supervises employees and their work processes. Responsible for maintaining all supplies and equipment functioning for the department.

Acts as Imaging Director in his/her absence. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. Performs in the capacity of staff technologist when necessary.

What qualifications you will need:

• 
  Bachelor’s preferred

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology

• 
  Minimum of 1 year previous supervisory experience

• 
  Registered with the ARRT (R)

• State of Florida General Radiographer Certification

• 
  American Heart Association BLS certification
