The Medical Account Manager is responsible for growing capital equipment sales within a specified territory at a rate to meet or exceed sales goals within that territory. He or she will emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations. He or she will negotiate prices or terms of sales agreements within parameters defined by senior leadership. They will prepare and submit sales contracts for orders and visit clinical establishments to evaluate needs and to define appropriate product and service solutions. The successful MAM will consistently contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs and be able to answer customers' questions, about products, prices, availability, or credit terms and quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications.
