Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY FELLOWSHIP:
The Diagnostic Radiology Fellowship is a one-year comprehensive academic and clinical training program covering the full continuum of diagnostic imaging with special emphasis on musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasonography. Completion of the program will prepare diagnostic imaging residents or board-certified chiropractic radiologists for a career in private practice, academics or research, and eligibility for the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (ACBR) exam. The opening is available in September 2024.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements: A DC degree from a chiropractic college holding status with the Council on Chiropractic Education at the time of the applicant’s graduation. Be eligible for a Missouri DC license and shall have a Missouri license prior to employment. Applicant must have completed a diagnostic imaging residency program in good standing from a chiropractic college.
