Additionally, Diesel Mechanic maintains maintenance logs according to requirements. Ensures services provided follow all quality standards and safety procedures. May perform DOT annual inspections on vehicles. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically requires Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A. Typically requires a Certificate in Automotive & Diesel Technology. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Diesel Mechanic works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Boston Express Bus are looking to add a Full-time Diesel Mechanic to our experienced Maintenance team in Londonderry, NH.
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, assembling, disassembling, repairing, and servicing our fleet of state-of-the-art Prevost X3-45 motorcoaches. Successful candidates must possess a basic set of standard and metric mechanics tools and demonstrate some knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, power trains, and fuel systems. In-depth on the job training with our experienced technicians will be provided so you can grow your skillset and get paid doing it!
