Digital Workshop Center (DWC) is a school for tech careers on a mission to empower students to gain job skills in high growth, high demand occupations.

Since 2006, our school has been a powerful resource across the US for students looking for bootcamp or non-traditional higher education. DWC enrolls students of all backgrounds and skill levels.

We are seeking a Northern Colorado Microsoft Office Instructor who is an all-around Microsoft Office expert to join our instructor team. The ideal candidate is a “Swiss army knife” of all things Office and business/productivity.

The ideal candidate will possess a focus on adult higher education, patient teaching and understand our commitment to student employment outcomes.

This position is ideal for someone looking for additional contract work outside of a PT/FT position and has flexibility in their schedule. Number of contracts will vary throughout the year.

About You

• Expert in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Comfortable teaching basic digital literacy to beginner students with limited technology experience
• Tech savvy individual who is comfortable in a fast-paced tech bootcamp environment
• Takes joy in talking with and helping students advance their careers
• High attention to detail
• Kind and friendly personality
• Understanding of conflict management
• Resourceful problem solver

Requirements

• 10 years professional experience in Microsoft Office products
• Absolute expert in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• 3 years teaching experience
• Positive attitude and great student support skills
• Demonstrated high level of understanding of technology and how to convey complex subjects to those who have less knowledge than you
• Understanding of contract work and that contract opportunities may vary.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Proficient in business productivity strategies and systems
• Experience teaching at a tech bootcamp, higher education program or adult education school
• Relevant experience working with students in higher education
