Digital Collection Librarian maintains a library's digital collection of books, serials, documents, audiovisuals, or other materials, and assists groups and individuals in locating, obtaining and using materials. Trains others in the creation or preservation of digital resources and the use of the library's digital system(s). Being a Digital Collection Librarian is responsible for the library's open source projects and procures licenses for digital content. Interacts with IT staff in selecting/developing, implementing and maintaining the library's technical infrastructure. Additionally, Digital Collection Librarian requires a master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited school in a related field. Typically reports to a director. The Digital Collection Librarian manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Digital Collection Librarian typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Role Summary: Support the Store Manager in overseeing sales, merchandising, providing outstanding customer service, demonstrating sales floor leadership and inventory control.
Performance Measures / Success criteria
1. Partner with SM and ASM for execution of all policies, procedures and operation of store environment including loss prevention.
2. Become the sales leader within the store environment emphasizing store and individual goals in order to elevate the customer service experience.
4. Supervise the sales team and follow up on the performance in order to ensure continuous sales coverage and assess the personal performance.
5. Assure sales floor presentation standards and maintain it regularly in order to meet company’s standards.
7. Assist SM and ASM in contest, events and markdowns in order to increase the sales and realize the personal objectives.
Requirements:
·-High School Diploma
- Speaks well and uses effective verbal skills.
Availability: Nights, Weekends, Holidays- max of 39 hours per week.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
· Must be able to lift heavy boxes – receiving, stocking purposes.
· Must be able to climb a ladder – 8’ or 14’
