JOB SUMMARY
Provide service of high-quality meals and facilitation of a gracious environment. This entails; accurate communication and order taking, properly relaying meal orders to back of the house staff.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Be present in dining room for full meal service.
Assist special functions as scheduled.
Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection free environment at all times.
Oversight of bistro areas as directed food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, make popcorn, etc.
Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
As directed, participate in the Quality Assurance Committee.
Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.
Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS

Experience : Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred, but not required.
Standards : Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA.
Team members who are scheduled to work 24 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits, families of said team members will also be eligible.
