Direct Mail Specialist manages all direct mail programs, processes, and materials to insure effective and on-time results. Oversees warehouse inventory and reorders items as needed. Being a Direct Mail Specialist works with Marketing campaign team to select and manage vendors. Tracks and evaluates direct mail program effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvements. Additionally, Direct Mail Specialist may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Direct Mail Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. About This Position: We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director, Direct Mail, to provide creative direction and oversight for several direct mail accounts under the guidance of the Creative Director. The ACD will make directional decisions on a daily basis, but will seek guidance, input, and/or support from the Creative Director for support with balancing conflicting inputs or strategic misalignment as needed. The duties of the ACD will range from taking a lead role in collaborative brainstorming and guiding creative decisions to completing documentation of creative direction and seeing it through to campaign content. This role will contribute to our clients’ success (and, in turn, the agency’s) through the development of powerful creative and content that matches our clients’ brands and missions, to ultimately generate desired campaign program results.

Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, or other relevant fields is strongly preferred but not required if the candidate has comparable experience. Tech Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in working with PC or Mac computers and accompanying software, particularly Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat. This employee should display confidence and proficiency navigating Google Drive, Google Docs, and Asana, and a high level of comfort utilizing video meetings and Slack for daily communication needs. Knowledge of programs in the Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
