Job Summary/Description:  

Live 5 News is looking for a Digital Content Producer. We are looking for a journalist who is passionate about sharing content online and on social media. We need someone who is a great writer and has solid news judgment.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Writing, editing & attaching video to news stories on Live5News.com
- Monitoring news sources to develop news content
- Promoting content on social media through engaging posts.
- Managing station social media
- Shooting stories in the field for use on air and on our digital platforms
- Ability to fill in on other shifts as needed, including early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Must be a strong writer and copy editor with excellent editorial judgment, time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly
- Must have basic working knowledge of web design and maintenance
- Experience with writing in AP style is preferred
- Knowledge of entry level videography and video editing software a plus
- Candidate must have a valid driving license and clean driving record
