Director of International Education jobs in Wyoming

Director of International Education leads and directs all aspects of the institution's international programs. Oversees programs, activities, faculty affairs, and academic support services. Being a Director of International Education develops and implements strategies to attract and retain students and faculty. Oversees the operations of the study abroad and foreign exchange programs, the international admissions process, and English language programs. Additionally, Director of International Education ensures that the curriculum remains current and is in compliance with accreditation standards. Monitors the documentation and visa application processes. Oversees the departmental budget and management of expenditures throughout the year. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Director of International Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Education and Experience and Background:

    • Master’s degree in education or related field from an accredited college or university.
    • Current Wyoming School Administrator license.
    • Minimum of three (3) years successful teaching experience.
    • Minimum 21 years of age at time of hire.
    • Driving record of no more than two moving violations or at fault accidents in any combination in the past three years, and no major moving violations within the past three years.
    • Clear background and child abuse registry checks.
    • Strong written communication skills with a proven background in interpersonal, organizational, time-management, oral communication, and teamwork.
    • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to successfully manage multi-functional or diverse areas.
    • Effective background in interpersonal, organizational, time-management, various forms of communication, and teamwork.
    • Experience and application in a variety of MS Office Suite and agency specific technology or equipment.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Experience in supervision and administration.
    • Experience working with youth and families with mental/behavioral health needs.

    The Education Director’s primary purpose is to oversee and assure a quality educational milieu at the school and fulfill all administrative and instructional functions of the school to meet educational needs of students and support the mission and goals of MOEC and the agency.
