Disaster Recovery Administrator implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree.     How you make a difference

    As a Compliance and Performance Improvement Administrator, you will oversee hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives, directing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and quality of care. Your role involves crafting and implementing comprehensive programs, policies, and procedures to guarantee compliance with rigorous accreditation standards such as DHEC, NCCHC, and TJC, as well as regulatory frameworks including HIPAA and state, federal, and local statutes. Collaborating closely with the Hospital Administrator and Assistant Hospital Administrator, you will ensure adherence to contractual obligations with external agencies, safeguarding the hospital's operational integrity and commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives, striving for best practice patient care and safety outcomes, while directing efforts to reduce medical errors and adverse patient outcomes.
    • Design and implement comprehensive programs, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with NCCHC, ACA (if applicable), DHEC, TJC accreditation standards, HIPAA regulations, and relevant federal, state, and local statutes, while tracking evolving laws and regulations affecting organizational requirements.
    • Collaborate directly with the hospital administrator to ensure contractual compliance with agencies managing Correct Care/CRCC, coordinating the preparation and submission of response/corrective action plans to accrediting/regulatory bodies as necessary.
    • Provide direct supervision to the medical records clerk and coordinator, while facilitating continuous process improvement, offering training on PI methods, root cause analysis, and project presentations to staff.
    • Monitor indicator reports, track trends, and ensure timely reporting of significant trends to executive management, serving as a resource for the Utilization Management Plan, peer review process, and related activities.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education

    • A Bachelor’s degree required in human services or health care field, Master’s degree preferred. 

    Experience

    • Five (5) years of directly related management experience in the field.
