Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Project Manager (PM), Business Initiatives is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects pertaining to the agency’s strategic growth and on-going business operations. The PM will be responsible for the creation, organization, execution, and completion of specific projects surrounding behavioral health programs, school-based initiatives and new-site preparedness; and should be comfortable with navigating clinical and business-related questions. The PM will manage different aspects of projects: scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources. 

     

    Essential Functions 

    Over the course of a project, the Project Manager, Business Initiatives will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. Important duties and responsibilities include:

    • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, allocating resources and managing budgets
    • Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
    • Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and goals
    • Present leadership with recommendations and options for how to progress with the project and ensure the project is aligned with their goals
    • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
    • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
    • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed; Motivate people involved in the project to complete tasks on time
    • Coordinate meetings with company executives, ensuring projects stay on track

    Other Duties

    • Develop and maintain competence in performance improvement methods, data analysis, survey methods, and effective mental health practices.
    • Maintain strong customer relations through attention to timely completion of tasks and a cooperative approach to project planning and activities.
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with other team members.
    • Actively participate in team meetings and work groups.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, MBA preferred
    • 2-4 years of experience conducting program management and/or quality improvement activities, preferably within a healthcare or nonprofit organization. 
    • Demonstrated independent project management coordination
    • Understanding of LEAN principles
    • Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum) preferred
    • Knowledge of grant coordination and acquisition
    • Proven leadership skills
    • Demonstrated experience with projects related to cost and risk management 
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills; Friendly and approachable
    • Ability to review and interpret data
    • Strong MS Office (esp. Excel) skills
    • Problem-solving skills; Ability to make important decisions under pressure
    • Ability to delegate effectively
    • Time management skills
