Discount Brokerage Sales Representative is responsible for the timely buying and selling of securities for clients at discounted commissions. Ensures accuracy of transactions and keeps abreast of market conditions. Being a Discount Brokerage Sales Representative typically does not make investment recommendations unless client holds advised account or other fee-based product. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area and may require state licensure. Additionally, Discount Brokerage Sales Representative requires NASD series 7 license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Discount Brokerage Sales Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. INSPECTION/FEED ASSOCIATE
JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW:
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect inbound product for obvious defects
- Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
- Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
- Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:- Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday 8 hours with a half hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with team lift
- Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
- Must be tech savvy
- Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
