We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst, Expert to join our team. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard working with the ability to excel in a challenging, fast-paced government contractor environment.  The position location is remote.  This position is contingent upon contract award.

OVERVIEW

The Cyber Security Analyst, Expert shall serve as a subject matter expert (SME) / liaison to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Functional Area Lead personnel who provide oversight and guidance. The Cyber Security Analyst, Expert shall ensure all operations and tasks are performed and assist Contractor personnel in technical support.

Responsibilities:

• The SME shall perform the following: collect/report metrics, manage scope to the PWS, manage work and resources.
• Ensure that the team provides and communicates value-add through dissemination of metrics, reports, briefings, other means of communication.
• Ensure adherence to service level agreements. The site lead shall have knowledge of, and experience to support tasks and operations as described in the PWS.

Qualifications

• Doctorate concentrated in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required with 15 years of applicable experience OR a master’s degree with Expert level certifications (Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager
• 5 years’ experience: Architect, engineer, develop, deploy and administer Data Loss Prevention solutions
• Expertise in MITRE Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge Framework
• Must have IT experience with Cyber Security Policy and threat mitigation
• Strong understanding  of ZTA and implementation experience is required.
• Knowledge and experience in Data Loss Prevention tools, architectures, requirements & use case development and data categorization.
• Knowledge of implementation and security levels and roles necessary for successful deployment.
• Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust Clearance.
