Document Security Administrator administers and maintains a system of classified and unclassified company documents according to the record control policies and procedures for the secure management and access of company information assets. Classifies and files new documents following the established process. Being a Document Security Administrator fulfills document requests from authorized users and tracks the retrieval and disposition of documents. May prepare records for archiving, participate in audits, or assist in the destruction of records. Additionally, Document Security Administrator requires a high school diploma. May require security clearance. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Document Security Administrator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     • Working technical knowledge of: Active Directory, Cell/Mobile Phones, Networking Protocols, Enterprise Systems and Network Operating Systems, Patch Panels, Report Creation, Policy & Procedure Creation, Routing, SIEM/IPS/IDS, Firewalls, SQL maintenance plans and administration, SAN Storage, Switching, System Backups, Disk-to-Disk-to-Tape, TCP/IP & LAN/WAN environments, VLAN, VMWare/VCenter, Windows Server (All Current Versions), Windows Clients (All Current Versions), and Wireless Networks.

          Desired Skills/Experience

    • Strong working technical knowledge with hyper converged infrastructures, such as: Dell EMC VxRail, VMWare, ESXi, VEEAM and Data Domain backup systems.
    • Wired and Wireless Networking and UCM/UCX telecommunications products
    • Firewall Systems, Internal/External Vulnerability Scanning, SIEM systems, and other related security and access control systems.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Manage, Deploy, Monitor and Administer all networking systems, servers, data storage equipment, operating systems and their corresponding or associated software.
    • Ensure all regulatory required systems, security and compliance reports, logs, scans, and all other requirements are being successfully completed and all related regulatory requirements are being met.
    • Act as liaison with regulatory agencies, consultants and agents relating to systems and security regulations, as required.
    • Perform and/or assist with internal and external network security audits, to include assisting, monitoring, and reviewing vendors engaged to perform these and related functions.
    • Perform, manage, implement, and report daily systems checks, functions, and responsibilities.
    • Manage and ensure the security and integrity of host computers, multiple databases, and data transfer.
    • Perform and review vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats
    • Develop, execute, and test disaster recovery plans
    • Implement disaster recovery plan for operating systems, databases, networks, servers, and software applications.
    • Provide on-call technical support.
    • Analyze system or application usage and plan for growth or increases in network capacity.
    • Assess need for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute as required.
    • Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and developmental efforts.
    • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure software products and services.
    • Ensure successful and efficient scheduling of system/data backups.
    • Monitor and test server software performance and provide statistics and reports.
    • Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases.
    • Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
    • Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Information Technology.

    Physical/Mental Requirements:

    • Frequently sitting for extended periods of time.
    • Constant use of dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand and power tools, and to handle other computer components.
    • Frequent lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.

    Working Conditions:

    • Mandatory participation in a rotational on-call shift.
    • Ability to work in a 24/7 non-standard shift environment.
    • Frequently required to risk danger and/or radiation (from computers).
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
