Drilling Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of oil and gas wells. Performs design evaluations and recommends alterations to improve safety, costs, and efficiency. Being a Drilling Engineer may conduct risk assessment and cost estimation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Drilling Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. We are a small company in the water well drilling business with over 50 years of experience. We are looking for a new team member to join our crew. We drill new water and irrigation wells in the local area as well as servicing existing wells. Our projects range from digging in water lines, hydrants, well pits, installing new pumps systems, solar systems for filling tanks, and drilling water wells in rock and dirt.
Job Requirements
Prior drill rig experience a plus but not necessary
Class B CDL a plus but not necessary
Plumbing/ electrical experience
Good work ethic
Driver’s license required
$23-$30 per hr. depending on experience.
