Characteristics of Work

Fourth-level professional position accountable for the development of network architecture and design. Establishes network standards, platforms, protocols, and devices within the approved architecture. Designs complex networks and communications systems. Coordinates and oversees the planning, and installation of complex networks and communication systems. Conducts high level network performance tuning. Establishes statewide integration and continuity of connectivity. Coordinates the integration with external service providers. Researches developments in network and communication technology, proposes business changes and develops migration and implementation plans. Provides complex technical support in relevant field of discipline. May serve as project lead or provide supervision and technical direction to lower level team members. Mentors less experienced staff.

This is an in-office position, and all interviews will be conducted in person.

Requires an IT related degree and 5-10 years of IT experience with emphasis in network operations and administration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,779.54 - $89,789.07 per year
