Job Overview:

The EAP Counselor is responsible for the provision of counseling, consultation and case management to employees and dependents of Ulliance client companies.

Essential Job Duties:

• Conducts initial assessments
• Develops and implements treatment plans
• Provides short-term counseling, coaching and case management based on the Ulliance clinical model and service line including formal/company mandated referrals
• Assists clients in obtaining needed referrals and resources as necessary
• Provides crisis intervention
• Maintains timely and thorough records for each assigned case
• Actively participates in departmental staff meetings and peer supervision as needed
• Actively participates in ongoing professional development
• Reviews clinical documentation for adherence to quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a Behavioral Science Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling with a valid license in the corresponding field
• 3 years post graduate clinical experience
• Possess a basic foundation in behavioral health
• Ability to travel locally based on client needs
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license
• Availability to work assigned hours, including evenings
• Working knowledge of grief therapy
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Previous EAP experience preferred
• Previous involvement in individual/group supervision preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office products or equivalent
