Position Summary
The position provides overall leadership for ERP projects, oversees selection and implementation of the applications and/or services or upgrades to existing on-premises applications, and drives continuous improvement to business processes and business results. The position also assists in coordinating upgrade efforts to leverage enterprise resources, knowledge, and best practices.
The position works closely with the CIO, business, and technical leadership, serving as an expert resource, bringing forth opportunities to leverage ERP initiatives to better the business and influence decisions regarding business process changes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Applies business process knowledge by providing oversight of business process activities,
Manages highly complex business issues arising from the implementation of new processes or functions.
Provides technical expertise to support the development and implementation of ERP systems and assists in procuring hardware, software, and services.
Manages the ERP initiative to meet the needs of the business.
Responsible for ERP projects, including project planning, maintaining and controlling budgets and schedules, resources and resource allocation, and team organizational structure management.
Responsible for project communications.
Manages project scope and issue resolution.
Assists with managing project risk.
Leads formal direct report teams and informal cross-functional teams.
Responsible for quality of project deliverables and determines metrics that will be used to assess effectiveness of new process.
Manages integration of solution(s) into enterprise technical architecture and business environment.
Develop and maintain documentation related to the ERP system configuration and usage.
Responsible for managing relationship with system integrator’s project manager and overseeing all aspects of the ERP implementation.
Responsible for ensuring that the project delivers the anticipated benefits of the ERP system and that it meets the reasonable expectations of key stakeholders.
