    This role involves working closely with students in an in-person setting, providing guidance and facilitating tours of different locations. This position offers comprehensive coverage of all tour expenses.

    What are the main responsibilities for this role?

    Our Tour Managers assist our HQ team with pre-departure communications and logistical arrangements in the lead-up to the tour taking place. This will involve emails, booking activities, mapping out transport routes, and building relationships with the students, parents, and other stakeholders at Crimson Education.

    Then there’s the tour itself, which is usually 2-3 weeks in duration and involves travelling to a number of different locations. Although there will be long days, with early start times and late finishes required, you’ll be part of a truly transformational experience and the ideal candidate will be passionate about helping the next generation to reach their full potential.

    Our ideal candidate will love the satisfaction of helping young people to reach their full potential, all whilst travelling the world! Each Tour Manager is expected to supervise around a group of 8 to 10 students for their selected tour(s) to ensure their safety and well-being are maintained at all times while mentoring students by providing helpful insight and guidance about future pathways available to them as and when needed during the tour to maximize learning outcomes from the experience.

    • Adhere to all safety management procedures to ensure that students are safe and well looked after throughout the tour
    • Assisting with any logistical arrangements required for the delivery of the tour
    • Liaise with mentors and contacts to confirm meeting times and arrangements
    • Explore additional opportunities that would provide educational benefits for the group
    • Communicating with parents/guardians relating to any incidents involving their child
    • Collecting all forms and necessary documentation from students and parents/guardians
    • Awareness and understanding of Crimson Education's core business offerings so that guidance relating to future pathways can be provided to students during the tour
    • Make sure that students have the best possible experience on their educational tour!

      What skills and experience are required?
    • Possess a basic first-aid qualification to provide immediate medical assistance if necessary.
    • Hold a working with children check to ensure that all students are safe and protected throughout the tour.
    • Adhere to all safety management procedures and protocols to ensure that students are well looked after and secure during the tour.
    • Have experience in assisting with logistical arrangements and be capable of managing any issues that arise during the tour.
    • Have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with mentors and contacts to confirm meeting times and arrangements.
    • Be proactive in exploring additional educational opportunities that could be beneficial to the group.
    • Have the ability to communicate effectively with parents or guardians in relation to any incidents involving their child.
    • Collect all necessary forms and documentation from students and their parents or guardians to ensure that all requirements are met.
    • Possess knowledge of Crimson Education’s core business offerings to provide guidance relating to future pathways to students during the tour.
    • Possess a background in the educational travel sector or have experience working with young people to provide the best possible service.
    • Be dedicated to ensuring that students have the best possible experience on their educational tour and possess the necessary skills to make it happen.
