Electric Meter Installer and Repairer jobs in Waco, TX

Neptune Equipment Company, NECO is an installation contractor of water meters and meter reading systems. We are in need of meter installers for a project in Waco, Texas.

The position includes a $20 per hour salary plus productivity bonus of at least $600 per month if 300 work orders are completed. A company vehicle is included. We offer housing for this project and have an apartment in the area. Tools and uniforms are supplied as well.

Candidates must have a basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to work outside in an unsupervised setting. We offer on the job training, including one day of classroom training and multiple days working with an experienced installer.

Each morning your project manager will give you a list of work orders to complete. With each work order, you will perform some very basic plumbing and wiring to upgrade the customers water meter. You will record your work on a tablet using the project work order software.

Advancement opportunities:

The next step for an installer is an Assistant Project Manager. Assistant project managers train for a year with a project manager before going on to become a project manager.
