Busy Electric Motor & Pump shop is looking for an in-house electrical motor rewinder. We are willing to train the right person. You will be carrying out a wide range of repairs including generators, motors, bearings, seals and many more.
Responsibilities:
· Assemble, varnish, bake and test electric motor generator stators, armatures or rotors
· Review traveler connection diagrams, type of winding, span, inserts and coil grouping
· Files burrs from core slots, using hand file, portable power file and scraper
· Inserts coils into insulated line slots
· Cuts, strips, and bends wire leads at ends of coils
· Make sure coils are connected by twisting the leads
· Tap coil and end windings to shape, using hammer fiber block
· Wind new coils onto armatures, stators, or rotors on used Generators
