Core Responsibilities:- Leading a team of 20 plant line employees including maintenance personnel in day-to-day operations.
- Hiring, training, coaching, and separation of staff as necessary.
- Promote and account for safe work practices and training.
- Prioritize and multi-task refurbishing processes each day to meet production levels.
- Maintain inventory levels to meet production needs.
- Audit vendor contracts to maintain P&L budget requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies for on-site inspections.
- Step into function-specific roles as necessary to continue production.
- Collaborate with other members of the leadership team across different departments.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:- College degree in manufacturing or operations or 3 years on the job experience as equivalent.
- Experience in the propane, natural gas, or refined fuels industry is preferred but not required.
- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, DHS, and EPA standards.
- In-depth experience with Process Safety Management.
