Electrical Utility Trouble Shooter jobs in Texas

• Installs, trouble-shoots and repairs generators, motors, conduit, wiring, electrical components, switchgear, control equipment and related electrical equipment in water/wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Installs, checks, operates and inspects for proper operation automatic switching units, switchboards, batteries and related electrical apparatus and equipment.
• Works on various types of solid state switchgear control equipment and microprocessor controlled components.
• Assists with installation, adjustments, calibration, maintains and repairs various types of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, analog and digital control equipment used in water/wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Must be a team player, reliable, have own transportation & valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, must be familiar with Brazos County and surrounding areas, well organized, have the ability to follow written & verbal instructions. Have strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Must be able to obtain Class D Water Operator license within 1 year, Class C within 3 years, and Class B within 6 years.

Must be able to pass medical physical, drug test, and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
