Electronic Data Interchange Manager oversees staff responsible for the design and development of EDI application interfaces and maps. Develops and implements an EDI strategy to support organizational initiatives. Being an Electronic Data Interchange Manager manages daily EDI operations. Leads EDI projects. Additionally, Electronic Data Interchange Manager defines and documents project scopes, deliverables, and schedules. Allocates the resources for testing and implementation support. Establishes documentation standards used to develop flow charts and written documentation of EDI design, specifications, and operating protocols. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Electronic Data Interchange Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Electronic Data Interchange Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Positions in this class perform paraprofessional instructional activities in a variety of settings offering opportunities for learning and that serve children and youth with one or more disabilities. Positions assist the teacher by monitoring individual student achievements, monitoring the classroom, gradating, providing individual or small group instructions, collecting and recording data, and charting behavior.

    Job Duties Include:

    • Inputting data such as grades and student/teacher schedules.
    • Running various reports into PowerSchool.
    • Maintaining student records, transcripts, and files.
    • Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner with staff, students, ci-workers and visitors.

    This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits.

    The salary grade for this position is NC01. State employees are encouraged to apply for positions of interest even if the salary grade is the same as, or lower than, their current position. If selected for this position, a new salary will be recalculated taking into consideration the quantity of relevant education and experience, funding availability, and internal equity.
