We're looking for a Manager of Pre-Construction for Electronics. The office location is Albany, NY but the work is global. Pre-Construction is an area of strategic growth for Jacobs and you will be a pivotal part of growing that capability. In this role, you will be initiating the planning of projects. Working with both internal and external partners, you’ll provide our clients with solid planning and execution summaries that they can use to establish baseline metrics for construction performance. From schedules to estimates and constructability reviews, you and your team will work as a liaison between our design efforts and our clients' project execution plans. As we continue to develop our Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) reach, this will also be managed by our Pre-Con team. • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline
• At least 5 years of experience working on Advanced Technology Facility projects as a project engineer or project manager
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in scheduling both design & construction
• Experience in estimating
• Experience in site logistics & planning
Ideally, you’ll also have\:
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience in the execution of Off-Site Manufacturing
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
• Working knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) principles
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden your knowledge base
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

The base salary range for this position is $121,300 to $189,450. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
