    Job Description:
    The SCM Communications Team provides support for the overall SCM function as follows:
    QA Review to refine content and ensure message is concise and clear from reader's perspective
    Distribution Consultation to assess if all impacted audiences and email addresses are identified
    Subject matter expertise on current Writing and Brand Standards
    Document final approval to send and send Leadership/Partner Preview, as appropriate
    Distribution from SCM Communications mailbox, as appropriate
    Guidance on SCM message consolidation, consistency, templates, and process streamlining
    Supply Chain Management (SCM) Communications Team: Business Execution Consultant 4 (BEC)


    In this role you will:
    Partner with appropriate SCM functional group(s) to craft clear and concise messages to inform employees and/or third parties of key changes and operational impacts, with minimal feedback or oversight required
    Obtain approved Distribution Lists from project requesters
    Obtain approval from SCM Leadership Team, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Business Partners, and Legal, as appropriate
    Distribute messages to in-scope audiences from SCM Communications mailbox, as appropriate
    Ensure projects are completed by required date
    Ensure communications projects follow Brand Standards and Writing Guide
    Develop page content and Supply Chain internal communications platforms including SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams
    Design and update SCM Hub pages/content/design on SharePoint Online
    Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
    Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
    Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
    Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
    May support other Business Management functions as necessary


    Desired Qualifications:
    5 years of direct communications experience with internal employee communications or corporate communications
    Experience leading communications for an enterprise program
    Experience developing centralized workflow tool solutions for communications programs
    Experience in drafting communication documents in "plain English" (few words, easy to understand) to brand standards and formalizing for intended audience
    Proficient in Power Point, MS Word, Excel, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams
    Preferred Supply Chain Management experience and/or Sourcing & Procurement
    Preferred experience as line of business lead communications consultant
    Ability to collaborate across teams and in a highly matrixed environment
    Experience in managing multiple, competing projects
    Able to synthesize large volumes of complex information into easy-to-understand content summaries based on the intended audience
    Proven ability to interact and communicate successfully with leadership at all levels of the organization


    Manager Notes:
    The contractor will be supporting the supply chain management team
    They will be leading large communication projects
    Proficiency in PP, Word, Excel, Sharepoint Online and MS Teams is needed
    Someone who is adaptable to a fast paced environment with often changing priorities
    Self starter, past resources have required too much hand holding


    In support of the communication projects some elements of the day to day will include:
    Surveys
    New process rollouts
    Change initiatives
    Broad communication requests
    Distribution list consultant (who are changes impacting),
    Taking draft content and auditing the writing to show the "how" and "why"
    Adhering to Brand standards in communications
    Gaining approval for communications
    The contractor will communicate with many parties including SCM employees, Executives and 3rd party vendors
