Employee Communications Manager manages the daily operations of the internal communication programs within an organization. Implements and participates in the design of communication programs to support and reinforce organizational objectives and comply with regulations. Being an Employee Communications Manager develops messaging themes and content. Ensures the accuracy of information distributed and standards using quality processes. Additionally, Employee Communications Manager collaborates with public relations or corporate communications teams on projects. Oversees vendors providing support services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Employee Communications Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Employee Communications Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Consolidation Manager

  • The Group Consolidation Manager will manage the international audit, intercompany, and balance sheet function for Current, ensuring the accurate and timely application of US GAAP The position requires an experienced, collaborative accounting professional with the background and interpersonal skills necessary to influence and manage an effective team.

    Attention to detail, superior organizational and project management skills, and exceptional communication skills are key requirements for the role. Experience with global companies and complex organizational structures are required. This position is based in Greenville SC and reports to the Asst. Controller.

    • Provide dynamic leadership to the accounting team in the US and to individual staff members in other locations, supervising and managing the Company’s audit and, intercompany activities
    •  Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, implementing and standardizing optimal accounting practices across the business.
    • Maintain the accuracy of intercompany balances\related party balances and transactions across the group.
    • Prepare and post the annual management charges across the group.
    • Ensure key balance sheet accounts are reconciled timely and accurately.
    • Plan, organize and coordinate the monthly, quarterly and year end close process with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
    • Ensure successful completion of the company’s tax filings in conjunction with tax team.
    •  Prepare monthly group financial statements, including cash flow statements.
    • Provide technical accounting direction to staff.
    • Hire, manage, train and retain accounting staff, managing current team of Accountants and shared service partners.
    • Ensure that the month-end close checklist is completed.
    • Assist senior management with ad-hoc tasks.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent required

    Required Experience

    • Strong communication, organizational, technology and leadership skills.
    • Strong business acumen, with ability to devise operational processes to support business strategy.
    • Experience of coaching / supporting of subordinates in day-to-day management responsibilities, creating and driving necessary changes and coaching others to embrace the relevant changes
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize and adjust as needs change
    • Ability to work to strict deadlines and in high pressure situations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and build successful relationships with key stakeholders.

    Compensation

    The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more.  This salary range is $110-120,000.
