ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Greeting employees in a friendly and courteous manner and explaining all food items on the daily menu.
· Answering questions about menu items including preparation and ingredients.
· Ensuring employee’s needs are met, including keeping coffee fresh, having ample supply of condiments, and/or food items, stocking mugs, plates, silverware, etc.
· Helping to keep our Employee Dining Room clean, completing side work, and organizing supplies as needed.
· Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products in Employee Dining Room to assure a smooth service period(s).
· Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
· Handles, stores and rotates all products properly. · Assists in food prep assignments during off peak periods as needed.
· Complies with occupational, health and safety standards.
· Keep floor free of debris.
· Ensures foods are stored and kept at proper holding temperatures, through the use of thermometers. · Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Must be 18 years of age.
· High School Diploma or GED required. · Valid SNHD required. · Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
