    Opportunity

    The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships between employees and the organization, ensuring that employee concerns are addressed effectively, and crafting policies and procedures to guide Human Resources functions. This role is instrumental in shaping our company culture and ensuring that we maintain a positive and inclusive workplace.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Collaborates with senior leadership and Human Resources Business Partners to develop and implement an Employee Relations strategy that aligns with the company’s values and goals. Establishes a framework for addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances professionally and confidentially. Acts as a trusted advisor and resource for both employees and managers regarding workplace issues.
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, review, and update Human Resources policies and procedures. Leads the creation and maintenance of the employee handbook, ensuring it reflects current laws, regulations, and best practices. Provides training and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
    • Investigates and resolves complex employee relations issues, including harassment complaints, performance concerns, and workplace conflicts. Develops and implements conflict resolution and mediation strategies to foster a harmonious work environment.
    • Develops and executes initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Fosters effective communication channels between employees, managers, and HR to facilitate open dialogue and feedback.
    • Stays up to date with global, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensures that HR policies and practices are compliant with all relevant laws and standards. Knowledge of EEOC/AAP preferred. 

    Skills/Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field required, with a preference towards candidates with a master’s degree and/or certification such as the PHR or SHRM-CP.
    • 5 years of experience in employee relations, HR policy development, and conflict resolution, preferably within a large, global manufacturing organization. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

    The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.  Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
