Lile Moving and Storage is proud to celebrate 65 years as a leader in providing relocation services in the Pacific Northwest. Locally and family owned, with 8 branches in Oregon and Washington, Lile is recruiting a Branch Manager for our Tacoma location.
The Branch Manager is primarily responsible for generating sales, producing income, and managing expenses to achieve branch profitability. The Branch Manager is responsible for directing operations activities to achieve customer satisfaction and support performance goals as well as following corporate guidelines and company core values in staff leadership initiatives.
Fundamental job duties:
· Secure new business by self-generated leads; identify prospects based on service line and develop those relationships to increase profitable sales.
· Actively participate in ongoing business development activities including industry and networking events. Develop presentations to highlight our household goods, commercial relocation and logistics services.
· Actively guide and coach branch sales personnel to achieve sales goals and increase revenue.
· Lead, coach, train and supervise branch operations and administrative personnel. Effectively communicate customer expectations and employee quality performance goals. Actively recruits staff.
· Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, review and enforce company policies established to meet DOT and/or OSHA requirements.
· Implement a safe work environment to ensure adequate safety protection exists for employees, customers, company assets and equipment. Supervise branch safety programs.
· Manage expenses accurately to meet P&L budget goals.
Qualifications and skills:
· Minimum five (5) years in an upper-level management role in the household goods or commercial moving and storage industry, either in operations or sales.
· Strong management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
· Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn additional software programs.
· Able to set priorities, make critical decisions and respond quickly to ever changing demands.
· Possess P&L management capabilities, experience in budgeting and financial management.
· Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education preferred.

· Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Additional information:
Full-time, salaried position, with a minimum of 40 hours per week expected. Monday through Friday, weekends as needed.
In-branch (office) position in Tacoma (Lakewood). There is no option for remote or hybrid work.
