As an integral member of the Trust Administration group, this role provides daily oversight and direct management of 5 to 8 trust professionals. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 12 years financial services experience MBA, JD, CTFA, CFP are a plus 5 years Trust Services background. Significant knowledge of trust and fiduciary products and services, income and principal accounting, personal and trust income taxation, estate tax, gift tax, GST tax, investments, trust and estate law, and estate planning and retirement planning. Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Senior Trust Officers, Trust Officers, and Associate Trust Officers with complex books of business consisting of trust accounts where FPTC serves as Trustee, Co-Trustee or Agent for Trustee for personal trust accounts. Excellent communication, presentation and client relationship management skills. Ability to convey complex information understandably. Adapts easily to a changing priority, balances multiple tasks, and prioritizes work to maintain efficiencies. Collaborates with team members to perform periodic reviews of client relationships for risk assessment, enhancement of services, and identification of new business opportunities. Partners closely with other Trust Team Leads for consistency across all trust administration, creating a climate of teamwork that recognizes the importance of cross-business collaboration, ensuring business and development goals are met. Works with Regional Trust Specialists, Vice President / Chief Fiduciary Officer, Fiduciary Officers, Trust Tax Group and other business partners to manage fiduciary risk and enforce, develop and implement policies and procedures for trust administration. Participates in decisions and provides guidance with respect to discretionary and non-discretionary distributions from trusts, including the review of requests for content and appropriate supporting documentation, review of powers to adjust or unitrust conversions, special investment requests, etc. The Team Fidelity Personal Trust Company, “FPTC” is a federally chartered trust company offering personal trust services to Fidelity’s high net worth customers in every state. The Team Lead provides leadership of a trust administration team to ensure accurate administration of FPTC’s trust business and reports to the Vice President, Trust Administration.
