Endoscopy Technician performs various direct patient care activities in the endoscopy unit under the supervision of a physician. Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly. Being an Endoscopy Technician may assist with medical procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Endoscopy Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are seeking motivated Endoscopy Technician's to join our team in Nampa. This is a full time, permanent position. We offer a fun and rewarding work environment that allows for learning and growth opportunities. We are offering a sign on bonus of $500. ($250 paid after 3 months of employment and the additional $250 paid after 6 months).
Must possess: Good communication and verbal skills, basic computer skill, utilizes medical assisting processes, processes physician orders, and communicates clearly with patients, families, staff and physicians. Prior GI experience is a plus, but not required.
Duties: Responsible for care and maintenance of equipment and supplies. In the endoscopy unit this may include the use of endoscopy equipment and accessories according to the manufacturing recommendations, washer/sterilizers, air and oxygen compressors, ultrasonic cleaner and waste management systems.
