Endoscopy Technician performs various direct patient care activities in the endoscopy unit under the supervision of a physician. Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly. Being an Endoscopy Technician may assist with medical procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Endoscopy Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Endoscopy Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are a busy fast paced Endoscopy Center, your roll would be to assist the physicians during procedures, scope reprocessing, maintaining a clean procedure room, stocking, and some post op duties.(making and cleaning beds).
