Endoscopy Technician performs various direct patient care activities in the endoscopy unit under the supervision of a physician. Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly. Being an Endoscopy Technician may assist with medical procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Endoscopy Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Endoscopy Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are currently searching for a per diem Endoscopy Technician to work Monday – Friday who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: assisting physicians with procedures; handling pathology specimens, cleaning procedure rooms; restocking and changing over rooms; performing housekeeping duties and assisting in maintenance of all supplies. Medical experience (MA or LPN) preferred but not required.
You must possess a HS school diploma/GED and a BLS certification. Starting shift time is 6:30 am. Dependability is essential.
