Being an Energy Representative develops and distributes educational material; evaluates and recommends alternatives to existing systems or processes. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Energy Representative typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Energy Representative typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Title: Director of Energy Procurement
Location: Fort Mill SC
Reports to: Senior Director, Direct Materials and Energy Procurement
Position Summary:
The Director of Energy Procurement is responsible for the contractual arrangements related to purchases and sales of energy for all the North American sites. The Director must maintain a close relationship with suppliers and serving utilities in addition with the mill’s operation and management. The Director is also responsible for establishing budgeting and forecasting guidance at a business and site level. Working closely with trade association and working knowledge of the market, the Director will monitor energy regulatory and legislative issues that could impact the company and establish intervention plans. The Director will have the support of and will lead a team of two Energy managers.
