Job Description Summary Reporting to Enterprise’s Chief Operating Officer, this position supports and partners with the COO to help drive Enterprise’s strategy and continually improve its operations, with a specific focus on business process improvement, integration opportunities across Enterprise’s three operating divisions and it’s supporting centralized departments, change management, strategy development, and strategy execution. The Sr. Director of Operations and Strategy functions often as an internal consultant, leading a portfolio of rotating projects – some short- and others long-term – across the organization (both its market-facing operating divisions and its internal-facing functional departments). This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in seeing and touching the full field of a multi-faceted, national, at-scale and mission-based organization, and flexing a range of skill- and experience-sets that can apply both to operational and strategic opportunities for improvement. Job Description Lead a range of projects related to business process improvement, advancing Enterprise’s integration thesis around its operating businesses and internal operations departments, change management, strategy development, and strategy execution Thought partner with COO to inform strategic initiatives and decisions Support Quarterly Operations Review process, helping ensure operations departments track toward goals and problem-solving Manage external contractors working on projects within the COO’s purview Work closely and collaboratively at all levels across all operations departments and operating divisions Support annual budgeting processes and financial analysis Provide actionable insight for operational improvement and strategy development Self-start improvement initiatives beyond directed efforts Have significant exposure to the Operating Committee members Develop strong relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders Be a vocal and visible champion of the company culture and values Qualifications: The ideal candidate will bring a range of experience and attributes to Enterprise: Bachelor’s Degree (in a related field preferred) 10 years’ experience in management consulting, operations, strategy, project management, business management, and/or finance Experience in making complicated simple Discretion and good judgement Demonstrated success at implementing change and project management Comfort working in ambiguity and bringing structure to white space Demonstrated skill in making decisions with varying amounts of information available Highly analytical, including financial analysis capability Outstanding oral, written and PPT communications skills Easy ability to work cross-functionally Flexible, adaptable with a positive spirit PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to provide sponsorship or relocation for this position.
