Reporting to the President, the Director of Operations SC01 will be the executive in charge of overall leadership, management, direction, planning, execution and results of the Moore, South Carolina production facility. 

Essential Functions: 

• Oversee all functions of the SC01 Manufacturing facility including, safety, quality, production, maintenance, human resources, environmental, procurement, budgeting, shipping/receiving, and financial control. 
• Lead and mentor the management team to ensure production goals are met safely, on time and on budget 
• Work with TUS head office on annual plans and policies for SC01 Manufacturing facility success 
• Work with TJP head office on production planning, production engineering, procurement, and quality targets 
• Ensure factory is maintained to ensure safety and environmental regulations are met 
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies, continuous improvements projects to improve safety, quality, productivity, and costs.
• Develop auditing plan to pass annual ISO, JSOX, Safety and Quality audits.
• Be a visible leader to the staff, the community, customers, and the parent company

• Experience in a manufacturing leadership role in the construction equipment industry
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with global and local stakeholders
• Deep understanding of the production, procurement, safety, quality, environmental and human resources functions required to successfully operate the manufacturing facility
• Ability to recruit, mentor, lead, motivate and develop a world class team
• Knowledge of financial and business management functions
• Understanding of auditing requirements associated with Safety, Quality and general JSOX audits
• Familiar with MRP/ERP inventory systems and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 10 years manufacturing or related experience
• Ability to travel and work locally and internationally
