Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital currently has a PRN Weekend (Part Time) Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeper) position available, working 24 hours a week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities: The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventive environment. Will perform assigned duties to maintain and upkeep hospital buildings to include removing trash and waste from designated areas, make beds, maintain facility and furnishings in clean, orderly fashion, including dusting furniture, cleaning windows, keeping bathrooms clean and supplies replenished. The Environmental Services Technician supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.
The following are the job requirements for the Environmental Services Technician position: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous hospital and/or hotel environmental services experience is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment with aptitude for attention to detail is required. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The incumbent is standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching while working.
